SEEN Dental Boutique ("SEEN", "we", "us") is the trading name of Dr Sara Hassen (DDM, GDC no. 222199), a self-employed dentist practising in Kensington, London. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website and in the course of your dental care.

What information we collect

Through this website: your name, email address, phone number, the treatment you are interested in, any message or photographs you choose to send us, and technical data such as your IP address, browser and pages visited.

When you become a patient: your medical and dental history, clinical records, radiographs and photographs, treatment plans, correspondence and payment details. This includes special category (health) data.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

• Responding to your enquiry or virtual consultation request — legitimate interests and, where you go on to become a patient, performance of a contract.
• Providing dental care and keeping clinical records — provision of health care (UK GDPR Article 9(2)(h)) and our legal and professional obligations to the General Dental Council and the CQC.
• Sending appointment reminders and information about your treatment — performance of a contract.
• Marketing (for example, news or offers by email) — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Website analytics and advertising measurement — consent, where required, via your cookie choices.

Who we share it with

Your information may be shared with: the dental practice where your treatment takes place and its clinical and reception team; dental laboratories and specialists involved in your care; our IT, email and website providers (including Mailgun for contact-form emails, hosted in the EU); and regulators, insurers or legal advisers where required by law. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Website enquiries: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a patient. Clinical records: in line with NHS and professional guidance, normally at least 10 years after your last treatment (longer for children). [confirm]
